Terms of service.

This is a placeholder for the StatusLayer terms of service. Before public launch these terms will be replaced with a proper agreement reviewed by qualified legal counsel.

1. The short version

Use StatusLayer for its intended purpose — communicating service status to your users. Don't break the law with it. Don't try to attack other tenants. Pay your invoice if you're on a paid plan. We'll be upfront and respectful in return.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the content published on your status page, for the subscribers you collect, and for the security of your credentials. We'll take reasonable steps to keep the service online.

3. Data

Your data is yours. You can export it at any time and you can delete your tenant at any time. We do not train machine-learning models on your content.

4. Liability

Placeholder — a proper limitation-of-liability clause will be provided before launch. Until then, treat this document as indicative only.
